On September 5th hundreds gathered outside of the Fresno Federal Courthouse for a rally in support of undocumented people living in America. With Trump signaling the end of DACA, people united to stand with DACA recipients and protest the unjust ruling. Below are photos from the day and quotes from residents who attended.

Being undocumented, I grew up with fear of letting people know I was undocumented. Allies, it’s time to take action. I don’t want this to stop after one rally, I want it to continue until all our Dreamers are taken care of. (Marinarde Soto)

My ancestors took land from Native peoples. Kids with DACA are the best kids. (Wendy Johnson)

Injustice anywhere is unfair, immoral. I’m here to support. I’m a teacher who had undocumented students and they were some of my best. (Diane Kirkpatrick)

We just wanted to be counted. This isn’t justified and we need action. (Bob Baisch)

I have friends and family who are going to be affected by this. I can’t stand by and remain idle. (Cruz Rodriguez)

I’m a DACA recipient. People need to fight back. (Iris)

I do not agree with the President. It’s not fair. Me and my brother are undocumented. This affects me too. (Jaime Martinez)
