Last month Gov. Jerry Brown announced that the minimum wage in California would be steadily increasing over the next 5 years until it reaches $15 an hour in 2022. In the aftermath of the announcement, youth reporters from The kNOw discussed the implications of the raise, especially for Fresno and the Central Valley.
